The Bijou Inner 4000-ease™ is compatible with the SoulPad 4000-ease™ tent. It has been designed specifically for those who wish to have a separate interior space, without compromising too much on the overall internal space in their SoulPad®. With the optional Bijou Inner 4000-ease™, SoulPad® customers are able to choose to section off quarter of the interior space of their Pad. Whether that is for privacy, to define a bedroom area, to insure an area remains free from critters or to stretch out the camping season...we all have our own reasons for configuring our SoulPad® in this way.....or not. It is optional after all!
We have noted that younger children respond particularly well to the inclusion of an inner tent. It presents them with a sense of order amongst the camping chaos and can help to define a safe and secure sleeping area.
Being a sealed unit with an additional groundsheet sewn-in, this is the perfect bit of kit for stretching out the camping season.
SoulPad's inners are incredibly lightweight. So much so that the inner could even be taken along on a trip as an optional extra.
To give an idea of the internal space available inside the Bijou Inner 4000-ease™ - it can easily accommodate a travel cot or two standard single, or one standard double air-mattresses. The spec.
SoulPad's inners are made from a lightweight, breathable polycotton and have a 180 g/m2 PE groundsheet sewn-in. They have been designed to clear the outer fly sheet in such a way that the two should not come into contact with each other. This encourages the free flow of air which is so important when camping under canvas.
There are two separate doors, one on each exposed side which both open into the same chamber. Both doors include a privacy screen and a secondary mosquito mesh screen. Both or just one of the screens can be used at a time. The zips are robust and allow the doors of the inner to be opened to the full radius of the SoulPad tent. The doors are also full height.
Inside the SoulPad® Inner tent are windows that correspond with the windows on the outer fly.
The fixings used to hold the inner in place are unique to SoulPad®, and vary between the models. We believe that the different models work better with fixings specific to that model. For SoulPad Ltd this is not the cheap option (we have to hold a lot more stock this way), but it is the best way to achieve the right shape and to insure and maintain a trusted erection (c'mon, do you think we will ever tire of the endless erection jokes that go with camping?!)
All SoulPad® inners are supplied in their own canvas drawstring bag which is made from the same trusted canvas used to produce SoulPad® tents, so they are water, UV and mould resistant too.
